Almanya Gezimiz (Temmuz 2007)- Our trip to Germany (July 2007)

Bir hafta boyunca Almanya’daydık. Kaiserslautern’de arkadaşımız Serkan bize ev sahipliği yaptı , sağolsun… Her sabah trene bindik farklı bir şehri gezdik, akşam Kaiser’e geri geldik. Son gece Münih’te bir hotelde kaldık. Gezdiğimiz yerlerden birkaç resim koyayım istedim.
[We were in Germany for a week. Thanks to Serkan who had hosted us in Kaiserslautern... Everyday, we traveled to a new city by train, walked around and returned to Kaiser back with train. Last night, we stayed in a hotel in Munich. Here are some photos from our trip]

Bergen’e uymayan hava durumu :) – Unstandart weather in Bergen

Bergen Avrupa’nın en çok yağış alan şehriymiş. Yıl içinde yağış olmayan gün sayılıymış. Şansımıza ilk 3 gün hep güneşliydi. Yalnızca son gün yağmur yağdı.
[Bergen takes the most rain among Europe each year. There are several days when there is no rain or snow. We were lucky to catch three sunny days in a row. Only last day it was rainy.]

Norveç Buzul Müzesi – Norwegian Glacier Museum

Fiyört yolculuğunun sonunda Norveç Buzul Müzesine ulaştık. Müze binasının özelliği pencerelerinin konumu nedeniyle içeriye sızan ışık nedeniyle müze içerisinde buzulun içindeymişsiniz gibi yeşile yakın bir renk oluşuyor. Mimarı ödül kazanmış.
[At the end of the fjord trip, we reached the Norwegian Glacier Museum. The building has a special design such that you feel yourself as in a glacier because the sunlight passes through windows. This design had been awarded a prize.]

Buzulun nasıl oluştuğunu öğrendik [In the museum we learnt how glacier forms.]

Bir buzulu yakından görme şansımız oldu. [Then we visited a glacier.]

Buzulların erimesi sonucu sular fiyörte karışıyor. Fiyörtlerin suyunun yeşil görülmesinin sebebi buymuş. [The glacier melts down and the water mixes to fjord. That is why fjord water looks green.]

Bergen: Fiyörtlere açılan kapı – Bergen : The door to the fjords

Bergeni tanıtırken fiyötlere açılan kapı olarak da niteliyorlar. Bergenden deniz yoluyla bir çok fiyörte gitmek mümkün.
[Bergen is introduced as the door to the fjords. You can visit the fjords by seaway.]

Bu arada Fiyort: Denizin buzul vadilerini basması sonucunda oluşan ve çoğunlukla iç kesimlere kadar sokulan ince uzun deniz kolu.
[By the way, a fjord is a strip of sea that comes into the land between high cliffs, especially in Norway.]

Sogn Norveç’teki fiyortların en büyüğü, Fjordane County de fiyörtün en daraldığı yerde bulunan bir belde.
[The biggest fjord in Norway is Sogn, Fjordane County was founded where the fjords narrows down.]

Biz de Sogn fiyort ve Fjordane County’ye giden bir geziye katıldık. [We had the trips to Sogn and Fjordane County.]

Fjordane County’ye giderken martılar bize eşlik etti [Sea gull were with us on the way to Fjordane County.]
